Having grown up in Fernie, Andrea is thrilled to be the publisher of the local paper. After having lived in Kelowna for 10 years she was happy to bring her two boys home and raise them in the close-knit community she remembers from her childhood. Andrea started with The Free Press in 2007 as a reporter. After a hiatus in 2009 she returned as the advertising consultant in 2012 and took over as publisher in June of 2013.

Jennifer has been a part of The Free Press team for just over two years and has recently taken over as Advertising Consultant. Jennifer has been in the Fernie area for over two decades, and when she's not working, she can be seen playing pool in her pool league.

Miranda is the newest addition to The Free Press having only just arrived to Fernie in October 2015. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Miranda is looking forward to hiking around the mountains and seeing everything Fernie has to offer.

With over 15 years experience working in Graphic Design and Event/Marketing in the winter sports Industry in England, Laura Burke decided to make the move to Fernie four years ago to experience the real mountain life. Once in Fernie, she fell in love with the town and never left. She enjoys all the Elk Valley has to offer, including snowboarding, biking, hockey and hiking.

Bryn recently relocated to the Elk Valley for the outdoor lifestyle, as he loves anything that goes downhill, including bikes, skis and snowboards. A recent graduate from University of Toronto and Sheridan College, Bryn's strengths are generating content and starting a good conversation.
