THOMPSON, Man. - A 13-year-old Manitoba boy has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a man over the summer.
Police say Bernard Hart, 37, was reported missing on June 6. His remains were found in a wooded area on the east side of Thompson, Man., on July 8.
An initial autopsy was unable to determine cause of Hart's death but a second autopsy held in October with the assistance of a forensic anthropologist confirmed Hart was murdered.
In addition to the second-degree murder charge against the 13-year-old suspect, RCMP say further arrests are pending in the case.
