Crawford Bay: Pinnacle Lifestyle RV Resorts Continues to Expand

Since their inception in 2020, the Pinnacle Lifestyle resort development team has succeeded in establishing 6 RV and cabin resort properties in Alberta and BC, making the company one of our industry’s fastest growing brands.

Pinnacle Lifestyle RV Resorts, based in Calgary, purchased Kokanee Springs Golf Resort in 2021. Since then they’ve developed 27 new private RV lots and 36 new nightly rental RV campsites, which opened during the 2023 camping season. They have also added a private cabin community.

In 2021 they also added the former Revelstoke KOA campground to their brand’s growing family. Revelstoke RV and Cabin Resort is at the foot of Mt. Revelstoke National Park.

Most recently, Pinnacle has acquired 200-acres of treed land along the Columbia River near Golden. It is the former site of the town of Donald BC, slated for future RV resort development.

Cranbrook: Century 21 Moves to 9th Avenue

Adam Stenersen and Gerald Walsh recently purchased the Century 21 franchise in Cranbrook from Cora McCartney. As the new owners of Century 21, Adam Stenersen, Managing Broker, and Gerald Walsh, licensed realtor, have moved their office to 101 9th Avenue South in downtown Cranbrook. Both Adam and Gerald had been with Re/Max Blue Sky realty for a number of years.

The Century 21 Purcell Realty office offers a full lineup of residential and commercial real estate services.

Fernie: The Bay Leaf Restaurant Opens at the Fernie Golf Club

Owner Dilip Chand and his staff recently opened their third Bay Leaf Indian-fusion restaurant. The newest restaurant is located at the Fernie Golf Club. They now offer lunch, and will be fully open starting April 15th.

Chef Chand stated, “Our Fernie restaurant offers an exclusive dine-in experience. Join us and experience the magic for yourself. Whether you’re a vegetarian or a meat lover, we have something for everyone. You can indulge in authentic Indian fusion flavors, and experience a taste of Nepal.”

The new Bay Leaf restaurant is located at the Fernie Golf Club at 201 Fairway Drive. The Fernie Bay Leaf restaurant joins locations in Cranbrook and Creston.

Nelson: The Stevens Move to WK Real Estate Co.

Veteran realtor Sylvia Stevens and her husband Derrick have joined the WK Real Estate Co. (formerly West Kootenay Property Rentals Inc). Sylvia was with the Coldwell Banker office in Nelson for more than 22 years. The WK Real Estate Co originated as a modest property management company. The firm is now a full-service boutique real estate brokerage, with a team of three seasoned licensed property managers, an exclusive group of dedicated real estate agents, and an office manager. Other team members include Paula Owen, Cassidy Tutsch, Crissie Hrynew, Leslie Farrell and Chris Hiebert.
