WeeFest is coming

BubbaTres.jpg

The Arts Station’s WeeFest is coming back for its third year with a mix of poetry and music.

On Friday at 8 p.m., music and entertainment for all tastes will be showcased including many great local performers and some visitors as well.

This year’s line up begins with Keith Liggett reading poetry, which has become tradition for the event. Jenna Priestner, the lead singer from The Arcade Files, Mighty Joe Young, a blues player, and The Heather McDonald Band, a folk trio, and Sonis McAllister and the Barracuda Orchestre from Lethbridge, are among some of the night’s performers.

The night will wrap up with the laser and confetti spectacle of Bubba Tres.

Tickets for members of The Arts Station are $12 for adults and $8 for youth (under 18). For non-members tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth.

Tickets can be purchased at The Arts Station.
