Relay for Life events

With the Elk Valley Relay For Life less than a month away, fundraising is in full swing in Fernie.

Overwaitea foods are selling tickets for $2 each for the chance to win a 42-inch LG flat screen television and the Walkie Talkies are holding a hot dog sale outside Overwaitea on Saturday.

Falkins Insurance is also holding a hot dog sale on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first annual Snow Sisters Hell2Heal stiletto race will be on Saturday at 5 p.m. on Second Avenue. Tickets are $20 and the first 50 get a free martini glass.

Outside Fernie, the Elkford Credit Union is holding a silent auction from May 14 to June 3.
