Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
Long John Silver, Billy Bones, Captain Smollet and their friends invited an audience on a theatrical journey into the pages of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island last week.
The students of the Fernie Academy took to the stage for two nights to put on a year-end production of the classic pirate tale.
The cast was complete with beautiful barmaids, the hilarious pirate trio, the terrifying Pew, intriguing tribesmen, and charming adolescents Jim, Jamie and Molly.
The play also featured detailed costumes and creative sets.
The production took place last week at the catholic church hall in Fernie.
