Lucy the cat needs a home in the Elk Valley.
By Dave Hamilton
Lucy was found with a litter of newborn baby kittens under a porch in Fernie,B.C. when it was April and minus 20. All were frozen, but one baby survived. Lucy and the only surviving kitten were taken into a wonderful foster home. No homes came available to take both cats, so the baby was adopted out at eight weeks to a loving home and family. However, Lucy has not been adopted yet and the drive is on to find her a forever home.
She is seen in this photo. As a lovely silver tabby with white under sides. She has since been spayed and has all her shots She is sensible, sound, healthy, a clean litter trained house cat, who is a good mouser and loves to go outside during the day. She rides well in a crate, not meowing. She was an excellent mother. She even gets along with ‘nice’ pet dogs. She is kind and affectionate to people and needs a caring, loving, considerate family, or senior citizen or single person to adopt her as soon as possible.
Her foster home is running out of time. Please think of any person who may fit in giving Lucy a great new and forever home. Call Cathy Smith-Clark at 250-423-7257 or Diane or Brian at 250-23-6707
