Fernie residents can pick up their very own copy of Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups at Overwaitea this Tuesday.

Overwaitea is bringing in 200 copies of the Disney film that features a number of Fernie locations. The Santa Pups crew took over town last November and community members have been eagerly awaiting the movie’s DVD release. Overwaitea Store Manager, Mark Lento, said he’s already had several excited customers ask if they’ll be stocking the film.

Overwaitea will also be purchasing a brand new TV to play the movie for a few weeks at the front of the store. The TV will then be used for a Christmas draw, with proceeds going to the local food bank.

The Santa Pups DVD will be available for purchase at 8 a.m. this Tuesday.
