Fernie celebrates B.C. Family Day

Fernie families had a blast on Monday’s first ever B.C. Family Day.

Thanks to a $5,000 grant from the provincial government, the Fernie Aquatic Centre offered an afternoon of free swimming for the community. The Fernie Memorial Arena also held a free public skate that afternoon as well.
