Scotiabank help Elks help Fernie kids
The Scotiabank Bright Futures Program has once again assisted the Fernie Elks Lodge with their fundraising, recently presenting the Elks Lodge with a $2,000 cheque.
The money has been earmarked for a donation to the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children and the Alberta Elks Foundation.
The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children is the Elks and Royal Purple national charity dedicated to assisting children of families in need. The Elks and Royal Purple of Canada also support a national Drug Awareness Program. This program is aimed at the prevention through education to assist in eliminating the illegal use of drugs.
