Fernie Fire Rescue gets kids hopping for a cause

With help from the community, Fernie Fire Rescue has been raising money for Muscular Dystrophy.

Support from Park Place Lodge Pub and The Northern resulted in just under $500 raised during March with the Buck for Luck campaign. In April, the staff and children at Bright Beginnings Preschool held a Hop-a-Thon, raising just under $700.

Fernie Fire Rescue, along with their pal Sparky and Muscular Dystrophy Canada, would like to thank everyone for helping them set a new record.
