The Elk River Alliance is a charity focused on the health of the Elk River through scientific monitoring and community education and outreach.
The ERA will be hosting an open house on May 25 at 4: 30 to 7:30 p.m.at the Fernie Legion. That will be followed by their AGM at 7:30.
The Open House will allow attendees to familiarize themselves with ERA projects and programs. The general public is welcome to attend the Open House. There you meet with ERA staff to discuss programming such as summer camps, water monitoring, hydrometric, cottonwood restoration, education and outreach programming, and the Elk River Watershed Monitoring collaborative. Learn about volunteer opportunities, and how the ERA plays a role in stewarding the Elk River and associated communities.
