But now it’s coming to an end with closing weekend coming up. Fernival 2024 begins April 13, 2024.

It all starts on Saturday in the FAR Plaza with opening act, Little Bit Good Band, a Fenrie Griz Bar favourite. That is scheduled fro 2 to 3 p.m. Following that is the headliner, The Steadies. The Steadies’ frontman Earl Pereira got his rock n’ roll pedigree as a founding member of the blues-driven rock band Wide Mouth Mason, who had three gold records, three JUNO nominations, and a host of other accolades and awards. Named one of Canada’s top bass players by Canadian Musician Magazine, Pereira has toured the world, performing over 3500 shows and opening for iconic artists like the Rolling Stones and AC/DC. In 2010, Pereira left Wide Mouth Mason to focus on his band on the rise, The Steadies.
