The District of Sparwood is proud to salute firefighters

The Sparwood fire department is hosting an open house today at Fire Station #1 until 3 pm.

The Sparwood fire department is hosting an open house today, October 13 from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Fire Station #1.

Come meet fire fighters, go for a truck ride, learn fire safety information and enter the ‘Chief for the Day’ contest.

Fire Prevention Week is an opportunity to tell firefighters just how much they are appreciated. Sometimes they are taken for granted until we need them in an emergency and only then do we truly recognize the courage and strength they personify. The Sparwood District extends a heartfelt thanks to all of their skilled and qualified firefighters for their dedication, commitment to fire rescue, training, fire safety and education.
