Taking a trip to never land
John, Wendy, Michael and Peter Pan took to the stage for the presentation of the Creative Energy Arts Factory’s Peter Pan.
“All the feedback I’ve received has been amazing,” said Alana Rybar, principal director for Creative Energy Arts Factory in Fernie. “People said they laughed, and they cried so that always makes me happy.”
There were 125 kids in the production, which included nearly 200 costume changes.
“It had a very different feel as compared to our winter production of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. It was very whimsical and quite funny,” said Rybar.
The two three-hour shows on May 11 and 12 were sold out.
“The performances received standing ovations. We were all pretty excited about that,” she said.
