Electric cars fight back

Join Kootenay Carshare and Advocates for Local Living at the Fernie Arts Station on Monday August 27 for a night of fun and scintillating discussion.

The groups will be holding a short Carshare information session from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m, open to prospective and current Kootenay Carshare members.

At 7 p.m. there will be a screening of Chris Paine's award winning documentary ‘Revenge of the Electric Car’ and attendees will be invited to voice their opinions, comments and queries after the film. Healthy, fair trade snacks and beverages as well as organic popcorn will be available.

A continuation of ‘Who Killed the Electric Car,’ Revenge director Chris Paine takes his film crew behind the closed doors of Nissan, GM, and the Silicon Valley start-up Tesla Motors to chronicle the story of the global resurgence of electric cars.

Entry is by donation.
