On Friday, December 20 at 7 pm The Arts Station presents ‘Once in Royal David’s Tavern.’ Tickets are free but required, and are available at The Arts Station.

Come and see the tale of the Nativity as you have never seen it before. An original musical production, the story begins in the Royal David tavern on Christmas eve 0005AD.  As a gruff innkeeper copes with the stress of his busiest season, he takes audience members on a musical journey.

He, his family and staff reminisce about the events leading to the remarkable birth through the queries of a curious traveling patron. The innkeeper falls asleep and dreams of the events five years prior.

After intermission, audience members will be transported to the night of the birth. The story concludes when the innkeeper is woken in time to join in on the celebration.

Performed for one night only, you don’t want to miss this fun, unexpected, and exciting musical experience. Cast and crew are being kept secret, so you never know which one our local Fernie friends will appear on stage next.

Seating is limited so get your ticket at The Arts Station.
