A rainy walk in Jaffray
Jaffray residents helped support their community hall with a run on Saturday.
Sand Creek Community Club held the third annual Jaffray Walk, Ride or Run-a-thon and despite the rainy day and muddy road, there was a great turnout from the Jaffray community.
People of all ages took part and walked, ran or rode their bike 3, 5, or 10 km. The community raised $2,540, which goes toward the maintenance of the community hall.
The Sand Creek Community Club would like to thank all of those who went out and got pledges and participated, volunteers who helped the event run smoothly, the Lions Club for the barbecue and all of the local businesses who donated door prizes for the event.
