About 200 people attended the all candidates forum at Fernie Community Hall on Wednesday evening.

The candidates for Mayor, council and RDEK Area A answered questions sent to the Chamber of Commerce about their skills, views on heavy industry and tourism, attracting small businesses and the community sustainability plan.

All candidates gave a two minute introduction, talking about their backgrounds and experience, and after answering questions, had the chance to make closing statements about why residents should vote for them.
