Sparwood Secondary School was pleased to host the 2011 Volleyball East Kootenay Championships over the weekend. Over 11 teams attended and the team coach commends Sparwood for a job well done. "The girls worked really hard, and improved so much since the beginning of the year, says Stephanie Podrasky. "We would like to thank the girls for a great season," she says.
