Ski shuttle to Fernie Alpine Resort will run this year
Fernie will have a daytime shuttle service in place for the ski season this year.
At the last minute, the key stakeholders, including the City of Fernie, Fernie Alpine Resort, the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Fernie, came together to make sure skiers would have public transport to the ski hill.
The daytime shuttle between the resort, town and West Fernie will be operated by the same company as the evening service, Mountain High Shuttle.
There is a condensed daytime service from December 10 to 15, then the full service alongside the evening shuttle will run from December 16 until the end of the ski season.
