Elk calf rescued from river

This is an elk calf that was rescued by conservation officers from the Elk River last week. She is recovering with the help of all her friends, other deer rescued from all over the East Kootenays. She has a bad leg but she is on heavy-duty antibiotics and recovering well. Conservation officers have named her River.
