Fernie businesses needed for movie scene

Kokanee will be setting up shop in downtown Fernie next week and they’re on the lookout for local businesses to be a part of their new movie.

On Tuesday, September 11, from 8 a.m. until noon, the director will be shooting a scene on Second Avenue called ‘Fernie waking up’. He’s hoping to get a few shots of actual store owners opening up and getting their businesses ready for the day.

Any downtown Fernie businesses interested in being a part of the scene can contact the Locations Manager, Rico Mielnicki, at ricom_1@yahoo.ca.

Kokanee is also looking for extras to be involved in a few scenes. Locals ready to experience their 15 minutes of fame can get in touch with Extras Casting Director, Laurie Pavon-Solis, at laurie@extrascasting.ca.
