Firefighters give kindergartners a lesson in fire safety

Kindergarten students at Isabella Dicken Elementary School had a blast with Fernie firefighters on Wednesday morning. As part of Fire Prevention Week in BC, members of the Fernie Fire Hall talked to the kids about fire safety and what to do in the event of a fire.

The little ones were delighted to receive their very own firefighter hat, and to get a chance to say hi to Sparky the Fire Dog.
