Sparwood residents attend Remembrance Day Ceremony
A large crowd gathered around the Cenotaph in Sparwood on Sunday to observe the Remembrance Day Ceremonies. Hosted by the Sparwood Legion Branch 81, the service was traditional and people of all ages and walks of life attended. Many wreaths were laid in memory of those fallen and thanks were given for the freedoms we now enjoy.
Following the ceremony residents enjoyed hot chocolate at the Seniors Drop In Center and chili and drinks at the Sparwood Legion.
