The Elk Valley Air Cadets held their annual Christmas party recently, including cadets, officers, staff and members of the newly formed Junior Squadron.

The Junior Squadron is an initiative undertaken by the Squadron Sponsoring Committee to promote the cadet movement to younger children, ages 10 and 11, so they will form an interest in the program prior to being allowed to officially join at age 12.

The Junior Squadron members were given hats and small gifts at the party. The cadets, officers and staff were presented with squadron hoodies by the SSC at that time as well.
