The Canadian Avalanche Centre and Teck are hosting a free Backcountry Avalanche Workshop in Fernie.

Come along and learn about

 

• Avalanche Character: Understanding the nature of the problem keeps you shredding but keeps you out of trouble

• Choosing Terrain: Interactive session to learn the nuances

• Less is More: How to get the most of the Public Avalanche Forecast

• Decision making in the backcountry: CAC resources that help keep you safe
