Fernie Alpine Resort is not the only Elk Valley ski hill.
Don’t forget to check out Wapiti ski hill in Elkford, which gets metres of snow and has low prices and no crowds.
The community volunteer run ski hill is now open Tuesday to Friday 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They will also have great events happening over the next few months, including family fun day on Saturday, February 9.
