A splashing good time in the Elk Valley

Elk Valley families enjoyed an afternoon of free swimming thanks to donations from Teck Coal.

In celebration of B.C.’s first ever Family Day, Teck sponsored free public swims at the Fernie Aquatic Centre, Sparwood Pool and Leisure Centre, and Elkford Aquatic Centre on Friday. With no school in session, residents in all three communities came out to swim, play, and spend an afternoon with family.
