Today is National Relaxation Day, and Canadians are being reminded to slow down and unwind from their daily stresses.

According to Statistics Canada, 3.7 million Canadian workers are stressed out.

“It’s time for Canadians to unplug from their daily stresses, turn off their phones, and embrace the lazy—after all, the most anyone should do on National Relaxation Day is reach for another drink,” Leslie Hyland from Seasmoke Whale Watch said in a press release.

Seasmoke is asking the Elk Valley to join in this day of relaxation.

“Elk Valley—perhaps it is time to embrace the lazy,” Hyland said.
