Multiple fires west of Elkford prompt restriction order

Multiple fires burning west of Elkford have prompted an area restriction order, effective immediately.

No structures or communities are immediately threatened, but access to the East White River Forest Service Road and the forested areas north of the East White River is restricted, a Ministry of Forests, Land and Natural Resource Operations press release said this morning.
