In the early morning hours of October 5, Elk Valley RCMP arrested a Calgary man who was driving a stolen pickup truck in Fernie.
Officers pulled over the driver, that they say was acting suspicious in a residential area of the city.
The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen from Castlegar, and at the time of the incident, the man was on probation for offenses in Golden and Calgary as well.
The man is also listed on the Prolific Offender List with the Calgary Police Service. The accused will appear in court next week for a number of charges.
