Kody Tanner pleads guilty to Impaired Driving Causing Death

On August 21st, 2017, in British Columbia Supreme Court, Kody William Tanner plead guilty to one count of Impaired Driving Causing Death (Section 249 (4} of the Criminal Code).

This stems from a collision which occurred on April 21, 2015 on Highway 43 just outside of Sparwood, B.C., and resulted in the death of 21-year-old, Cory Elphage Landry.

The sentencing for Tanner will take place on November 20th, 2017, and he has been released on an undertaking to not occupy the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle.
