Annie Wheta Yip passed away at the Rocky Mountain Village on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie on March 23, 1975, her sister Shirley and 2 brothers, Charles and Joseph.
Annie leaves to cherish her memory her children: Howard of Fernie, Marie (Tom) of Calgary, Eileen (Sam) of Medicine Hat, Ken (Diane) of Edmonton, Darlene (Larry) of Calgary, David (Pat) of Medicine Hat, and stepson Donald (Suzan) of Calgary. She was blessed with five generations of 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Prayers were held at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 31st. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 1st with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant. Interment was held at the Queen’s Park Cemetery in Calgary on Friday, June 3rd.
