Arthur Carmelo Gigliotti

Arthur Carmelo Gigliotti passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017 at the age of 81 years.
Art was born and raised in Fernie and attended Fernie School. He worked in the Fernie Liquor Store for 40 years, was a member of the 3300 Club for 44 years, was a member of the Fernie Legion for 43 years and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed curling in the Seniors League and was an expert gardener.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, Art will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to mourn Art's passing are his wife Helen of 41 years, sons; Jarrod (Leona) Gigliotti, grandsons; Zachary, Domonick, Ryan (Monique) Gigliotti and granddaughter Josephine, brother Garry and his family, Dorothy, Dana (Chris) and Dustin (Christine) Smith.
Art was predeceased by his parents Nuzzi and Mary (nee: Miscisco).
A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Fernie with Father David John Celebrant.
A private Graveside was held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Margaret's Cemetery.
