GLEESON:

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Neil Gleeson. Cliff entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 89 years. He was born in in the farming community of Kinlock, Saskatchewan to parents Thomas and Edith Gleeson. He was the oldest of 9 children, Hazel, Clara, Bud, Vic, Frank, George, Allen and Dorothy.

Cliff was a very hardworking man. Cliff stayed busy with his farm and Christmas treeing. He liked to barbeque in the summer months with his families and friends, and loved to spend time during the holidays with his children and grandchildren.

Cliff will be missed by all who knew and loved him for his “whistling tune”.

Cliff is survived by his 6 children; Beatrice, Neil (Linda), Clem (Laurie), Delores, Kevin and Shelley (Merle), 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, brothers Vic (Sharon), Frank (Betty) and Allen, sisters Hazel, Clara and Dorothy (Clarence), as well as a large family of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Edith Gleeson, brothers George and Bud, brothers in law George and Royce as well as his wife Hilda Gleeson.

Memorial tributes may be made in Cliff’s name to The Salvation Army.

A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Sand Creek Cemetery with Jack Lindquist celebrant.
