With hearts that are broken, we announce the sudden death of Jeremy Roy Scott Wellman. Jeremy died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the age of 32 years. He was born in Fernie on August 15, 1984, a little brother for Brent and Brandon.

Larger than life, Jeremy was a kind and gentle soul who made friends wherever he went. A charismatic young man, Jeremy was a carefree spirit who enjoyed life to its fullest. He had a great sense of humor, but in times of need, Jeremy was always there to support, encourage, and to lend a helping hand. When Jeremy loved, he did so unconditionally and without judgement.

A big man with a big appetite, Jeremy loved his food! He was always tweaking recipes to make sure they were to his liking. Jeremy loved all sports, but snowboarding was his greatest passion. He was looking forward to winter, and had planned on returning to Whistler again this year.

Jeremy touched many lives and will continue to live on forever within the hearts of all who loved him.

Jeremy will be greatly missed by his parents Patricia “Trish” and John Guzzi, his brother Brandon and his wife Kristal and his “brother” Noah, his niece Adelynn, grandmother Barb Knipple, his father Darcy Pelletier, and his beloved dog Capone as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. He was predeceased by his brother Brent in 1997.

A Memorial Service will take place at Cherished Memories “Serenity Chapel” on Saturday, December 17th at 1:00 PM with Meghan Weber, Celebrant. Following the service, Jeremy will be laid to rest with Brent.

In lieu of flowers, a Trust Fund for Jeremy’s brother Noah is being established. Donations gratefully accepted and acknowledged.
