GORMAN
Leo Egbert Gorman passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital at the age of 69 years.
Leo is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Veronica, two sons; Brian (Kim), Leo (Carrie) and daughter Tara-Leigh Beaubien (Andy), eight grandchildren: Bryce, Nigel and Bryan Gorman, Brittany, Christopher and Ryan Beaubien, Jade and Wesley Gorman. Also left to mourn his passing are his brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews and good friends. Leo was predeceased by his parents William and Florence and siblings Edward and Daphine.
A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, January 6th at the Gorman residence, 442 Englemann Spruce Drive, Sparwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Leo’s name to: The Cranbrook Red Cross, 1311 – 2nd St. N, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 2L1 or to The Canadian Cancer Society, Kootenay Regional Office, 19 9th Ave S, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 2L9.
