(1955-2016)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronada Ferguson of Elkford, BC who passed away on December 4, 2016 at the age of 61 years.
Ronada was born in Germany on September 18, 1955 to proud parents Dorothy and Ernest Ferguson. She grew to be a lovely young lady who captured the heart of a caring young man, David Ono. They married on July 1, 1986. She was a loyal, kind and generous person who had an amazing memory for everything. She was blessed with many talents including native beadwork and making jewelry and other beautiful crafts. She was an avid reader, major movie buff and, most of all, she loved traveling. She went to China twice, as well as to Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Eastern Canada and many more destinations. She was a nurturing and wonderful lady who will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
She is survived by her step mother, Mary Ferguson; her sister, Ramona Ferguson; her brother-in-law, Ron Dunfield; her nephew, Curtis Dunfield; extended family; as well as the many friends she made throughout her lifetime - especially Ellard Einerson and the Borthwick family: Ronnie, Shona, Heather, Alexx, Shane, Toree, Matthew, Kayla, Jacob and Lukas, also Sherry and her husband, Joe, and Marsha and Nancy Bradcoe.
She was predeceased by her husband, David Ono; her parents, Dorothy and Ernest Ferguson; and her niece, Karen Ono.
