MORLEY:

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father & papa. William Morley died suddenly on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Bill was born in Cokato to parents Samuel and Rose Morley.

Bill was a man who loved and enjoyed life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, photography and woodworking. Bill worked hard his entire life, starting at a bank, and then underground at the Coal Creek mine before working for Canada Safeway where he remained until his retirement. After his retirement, Bill helped with forestry lookout and shared his knowledge of the area working as a hunting guide.

Bill’s favorite moments were spent with his granddaughter Cassandra and his loyal dog Bandit, who was by his side when he passed away.

Bill will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances, his daughter Janice and granddaughter Cassandra, and his best friend Bandit. He is also survived by his brother Ken, half-sister Sharon (Sam) Fabiano, and is favorite sister-in-law Cathy Morley as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Rose, and his daughter Rose Marie.

In honor of Bill’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
