The Fernie Secondary School Jr. Girls hosted a six team basketball tournament with teams competing from Golden, Kimberley, Cranbrook, and Jaffray on January 29 and 30.

The Laurie Tigers defeated the Parkland Raiders for the fifth and sixth places. The Golden Eagles edged the home team Falcons for the third and fourth spots and in the championship game the Jaffray Rebels downed the Selkirk Storm 57-39.
