On June 12, the Sparwood Knights of Columbus hosted their annual soapbox derby as part of Coal Miner Days. The soapbox derby is one of the weekend’s most popular events, and with 71 entries, it was one of the busiest.

This event is always very special because of the children who participate. The soapbox derby is all about kids having fun.
