Lung Busting at Fernie Alpine Resort
The 2011 Lost Boys Lungbuster mountain bike hill climb saw 36 competitors taking off under sunny skies at Fernie Alpine Resort on Saturday morning.
Defending Champion Geoff Clark, from Calgary, powered to the top of the mountain in a new course record of 38 minutes and 4.5 seconds, winning the coveted trophy for the fourth year in a row.
Christine Misseghers, from Crowsnest Pass, led the ladies up the mountain, winning and setting a new course record in the women's category in a time of 41 minutes and 5.1 seconds.
