Passtrack kicks off cross country running season

Five Passtrak athletes ran their first race of the season in Lethbridge on September 24.  Mosese Ratudradra was in his first race as a Passtrak athlete and represented the club very well, finishing the two km distance in 12:34.

Zion Ratudradra placed first in the Peewee Boys two km race and cut 26 seconds off his previous time by finishing in 7:53.

Noah Schuh gave Passtrak a 1 – 2 finish by placing second in the Peewee boys two km event clocking a time of 9:02.

Alisi Ratudradra was the first female across the finish line overall and therefore placed first in the Bantam Girls division.  She improved her previous best time by 32 seconds completing the course in 8:05.

Jessie Stokke ran in the 5 km Open Women’s event where she slashed a minute and 20 seconds off her previous best to finish eighth in 29:10.

 

Three Passtrak athletes represented the club at a cross country running race in Calgary on October 1. Mosese and Zion Ratudradra ran in the elementary school one km event where Mosese placed 25th in 5:32 and Zion came in first with a time of 3:48.  Alisi Ratudradra ran in the Junior High girls 2 km race where she competed against girls who were up to three years older. She finished fourth overall in 8:07.
