Junior freeski comp at Fernie Alpine Resort
Fernie's best young shredders ripped it up at the Jeep Junior Freeski Competition at Fernie Alpine Resort this past weekend, along with competitors from all across BC and Alberta.
The real local stars were the girls aged 12-14, with Alex Beswick taking first place, Elsy Willis taking third and Lindsay Hamilton in fourth place.
The skiers are heading to Kicking Horse in Golden this weekend and will head into Alberta where Lake Louise will host the weekend after. The Freeski Junior Championships are slated for April 4 to 7 at Revelstoke.
