Sparwood athletes head to Summer Games

A big congratulation to six Sparwood athletes - Reese Barrett, Derrick Thummerer, Nikita Paskiewich, Cynthia Keilpinski, Mackenzie Harrison and Emily Zielinski-Gandner - who have qualified for the Zone 1 B.C. Summer Games Track and Field Team. The young athletes have been training hard down at the Sparwood Recreation Centre track in preparation for the games that will run July 17 to 20 in Nanaimo, B.C.
