Isabella Dicken Elementary students took part in an Aboriginal Education hand drum making workshop recently, and got to use their instruments to make some music.

Isabella Dicken Elementary students took part in an Aboriginal Education hand drum making workshop recently, and got to use their instruments to make some music.

The workshop was held in Cranbrook as part of the School District 5 Aboriginal Education program which focuses on the learning needs of aboriginal students.

Hand drums are traditionally made with a wooden frame and raw animal hide.
