Easter in the Park was another hop-away success this year for the Baynes Lake Parks and Rec. Society, held on Saturday, March 30 at the Baynes Lake Community Hall/Glen Sandberg Memorial Park.
There were plenty of activities such as games, face painting, crafts, egg and cookie decorating as well as music and good food. A special visit from the Easter bunny, laden with chocolate treats, was a great surprise for the children.
There was great community support this year with an abundance of volunteers who dedicated their time to help make the event a success. As the day went on more and more people offered to help where needed.
All the proceeds went to the Baynes Lake Parks and Recreation fund to help with the purchase of new playground equipment.
