Celebrate locally grown food and bridge the gap between rural and urban living at the Fernie Fall Fair, organized by Wildsight Elk Valley.
The Fair is back, and teaming up with the Fernie Mountain Market on September 10, 2023.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Mountain Market the blue Ribbon competition will take place at the rotary Park Gazebo as par of the Chautauqua festivities. There are over 21 categories in horticulture, preserves and baking, as well as a Cake Walk fundraiser and pie auction.
Entry fee is $1 per entry with no fees for pie, cake or cupcake categories. All entries must be dropped off at the site between 9 and 10:30 a.m. on the tenth.
By teaming up with the Mountain Market again, it is guaranteed that fresh produce will also be available along with local artisan and their variety of crafts. Wildsight is looking for volunteers to help with the event. You can sign up for a short shift at volunteersignup.org/MQBYE
