Twice a year the Fernie Fox Hotel issues grants up to $5000 to community groups. The grants are specifically to aid community groups, non-profits and individuals who are involved in projects for the betterment of the community.

Past recipients have included the Fernie Boxing Club, East Kootenay Foundation for Health, Fernie Seniors Centre and Presely Lewis. Over the past four years, the hotel has handed out over $85,000 in direct community support.

“We live and work in Fernie, and as such, our business is intimately intertwined with this community. By helping build a stronger, better community for all, we enrich the lives of our staff, and our neighbours.” says Jeremiah Pauw, co-owner of the Fernie Fox Hotel.

Marina Pauw adds: “The community has supported us in good times and bad, and this is how we pay it forward.”

The Fernie fox Hotel is now inviting applications for the bi-annual grant opportunity. If you or your group is interested in applying please visit https://ferniefoxhotel.com/sponsorship-application/.
